I ordered hot and sour soup, and it was neither hot nor sour. It was sweet. I don't know if that's really what their hot and sour soup is or if my waitress just didn't get the order right. However, their sushi is reliably good.

This is the best sushi rolls I've ever had. It is so fresh and really good flavors. The BK roll and the volcano are standing out in my mind at this time. Even the Ca roll was really good. The service is great when sitting up at the sushi bar. There's never a long wait for sushi. Drinks for refilled in a timely manner. A little expensive but worth it.

yah the prices is a little bit overpriced...but what can you expect for a small town like Merced...what I like most is the wide selection of sushi which is rare since we Merced in nowhere near an ocean...so importing the seafood is probably the cause of the high price...and god do I loooove the GOLDEN GATE a must have!!!

Sushi is good..a little overpriced for the portions, it's a hit or miss when its rolled depends who's working...however the CRAZY CRAZY is DELICIOUS!!! I luv it...and the atmosphere...it's not really there...it's ok to eat n leave..not somewhere you can hang out...

This is definitely the best Asian cuisine and sushi in Merced, but the service is lacking. It is not uncommon to wait up to an hour for a table even if you have reservations. However, the good food is enough to keep me coming back. I would recommend this restaurant to anyone that loves sushi and has a lot of patience.
